The Go NoCO pre-application was submitted to the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) today. The application included three maps of the proposed Regional Tourism Zone(s) or RTZ for the application. Take a look at the RTZ maps that are part of the Go NoCO application.
The RTZ is the area in which net new state sales tax increment is collected for the purpose of funding regional destination tourism attractions and the associated facilities and infrastructure. An RTA funded project does not have to be located in the RTZ, however we have identified these zones as those that have the best economic potential to the development of RTA projects.
The Go NoCo application will feature authentic and extraordinary family-friendly water and wellness attractions and experiences that are anticipated to include destination entertainment facilities along with the associated event center(s), restaurant, retail and lodging amenities. The projects will be located in the City of Loveland, the Town of Windsor and Larimer County.
Stay tuned for additional updates on the Go NoCO RTA application process.
